Latest end user domain name sales from Sedo
A games company, a furniture marketplace, and a film directory bought domain names.
Sedo had lots of great public sales last week, including 14 for five figures or more. Unfortunately, I’m not yet able to determine who bought most of the domains.
The big sale was GCP.com, courtesy of domain broker Dave Evanson, for a whopping $550,000. The domain was used by a business, which is probably why it sold for so much. The domain is under Whois privacy and doesn’t resolve yet, so we don’t know who bought it. There are many trademarks for GCP, including one by Google for Google Cloud Platform.

Jogos.com.br $42,500 – Jogos is Portugeuse for “games”. Toweb Brasil LTDA EPP bought this domain for a games site.
Prodia.com $27,500 – Prodia bills itself as a Web3 music platform “that allows you to own and enjoy music directly from your favorite indie artists.”
Muse.me €20,000 – This domain forwards to the website for Redhouse, an acoustic design studio.
Compass.eu €11,000 – A Mark Monitor client bought this domain.
Mjuk.com €8,250 – Mjuk Group Ab in Helsinki bought this domain. Mjuk is a marketplace for secondhand furniture. It uses the domain MjukHome.com.
Paytect.com €7,500 – The buyer has uploaded their logo, but that’s it. My guess is a payment technology company.
HighLife.us $4,995 – High Life Magazine, which covers marijuana in Florida, bought this domain.
Karrierewelt.com $3,500 – 25seven UG is a marketing firm. This domain translates as “career world” in German.
Dirigo.com $2,500 – Dirigo is a leadership consulting firm.
Leads.be €2,499 – This business sells online leads to companies in the Netherlands and Belgium.
MaisonBremond.com $2,435 – SAS Maison Bremond 1839 sells food products such as spices and honey.
Cyberfist.com $2,100 – Cyberfist is a video short written and directed by Matt Haley. The domain resolves to a page that has a picture of the video cover art on what looks like an old VHS box.
ThomasStraumann.com €2,000 – Institut Straumann AG is a Swiss dentistry business. Thomas Straumann founded the company. It uses the domain straumann.com.
